Museum of Tomorrow:
Exhibition

The Museu do Amanhã (Museum of Tomorrow) displays ideas about our impact on the planet and asks how we want to shape our future in the next fifty years. The exhibition is separated into different areas exploring our past, our planet, our impact and our tomorrow.

As lead designer, I defined the museum’s physical tone and brand identity—including exhibition graphics, wayfinding, interactive GUIs, and audio/video content—by directing a network of architects, interactive/motion studios, and development teams on one of Brazil’s most important cultural projects in the last twenty years.

The Museo do Amanhã explores many topics from our existence and beyond.

To create a seamless, immersive journey that aligns with the museum’s scientific and philosophical themes, typography, color, imagery, and iconography were carefully crafted to evoke a sense of innovation and forward-thinking. The visual language is both intuitive and engaging for diverse audiences, making complex topics accessible.

It was important to allow adaption to different exhibition spaces and media, to ensure consistency throughout the visitor experience while allowing a sub-identity to form in each space.

Recognizing that the museum Is a long-term cultural landmark, the design approach was crafted to be timeless, ensuring the visuals remain relevant for years to come, blending the museum’s narrative and architectural brilliance.
